• Execute web service integrations between Salesforce and external systems (REST/SOAP).
• Demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) configuration, customization (Apex-based), and automation.
• Possess knowledge or prior experience with DevOps tools (BitBucket, SourceTree, Ant Migration Tools, and Jenkins) and processes.
• Optional: Experience in Salesforce Community Cloud, Sales Cloud, FSC Cloud, LWC, and AURA component development, as well as building Apex-based batch implementations, and JavaScript.
• Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform.
• Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze options and determine the best solutions.
• Employ development methodologies, particularly Agile development, to deliver results.
• Utilize analytical skills to develop or leverage reporting tools for performance measurement.

Sun Life Associate Salesforce Developer Requirements:

• Engineering Degree / MCA or similar degrees from a reputed institute.
• 0-3 years of experience working with digital products, preferably in internal automation within an organization.
• Ability to manage and execute large-scale change programs with transformational impacts on both business and technical requirements.
